Kingston Dock Port Glasgow
This was taken when the Kingston Dock was being filled in with sand from the River Clyde. A Housing development named after the dock is being built on this site to commemorate another part of the towns history.

Greenocks very own prodigal son. The father of the Industrial Revolution whom Glasgow tries to claim as their own saying he thought up with his invention to improve the steam engine whilst walking across Glasgow Green.
