This was taken from Port Glasgow and is a well viewed landmark from Inverclyde. I used to think it was a white castle in the woods but found out it was actually a grand house next to a garden centre you can visit

Perthshire Countryside

This was taken a couple of years ago near Loch Tummel. I liked the colours of the hills and vegetation and the contrast with the bleak snow covered hills.

Lossiemouth Beach

I recently went on holiday this Summer to Nairn and found the beach at Lossiemouth to be a great area for photos

This was taken in Amsterdam where I thought it would be good to try to take a photo that relied on window light only. This copied the dutch painters such as Vermeer who did portraits using window light.

Greenock

Here is a picture of Greenock taken from Port Glasgow looking down the Clyde. The demolition of the Kingston Shipyard has allowed public access to the shore to take this picture.
